Drake Anthony Russell

Originally from North Idaho, Drake did his undergraduate at the University of Washington receiving a B.S. in Biochemistry and a B.A. in Medical Anthropology & Global Health. He is in his fourth year of graduate school as a predoctoral candidate in the University of Washington’s Department of Medicinal Chemistry. Drake’s research focuses on the biochemical characterization of novel drug metabolizing enzymes. After graduating, he hopes to be involved in early-stage drug development.
