Charles Cole

Charles Cole is a Senior Research Investigator at Incyte in Wilmington, DE. Born and raised in Barbados, his interest in science was nurtured by high school teachers that promoted the practical aspects of science and experimentation. After high school, Charles moved to Montreal where he obtained his B.Sc. in Chemistry from McGill University, after which he moved to Chicago to pursue his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry at The University of Chicago under the guidance of Prof. Scott Snyder, working on organocatalytic method development and natural product total synthesis. In 2021, Charles began his industrial career at Incyte where he is currently a Senior Research Investigator in Discovery Chemistry pursuing targets in oncology.
