Ben Milgram

Ben Milgram is currently a Senior Director of Chemistry at Scorpion Therapeutics with over ten years of medicinal chemistry experience. He received a B.A. from Northwestern University and a Ph.D. in organic chemistry from Harvard University under the guidance of Professor Matthew D. Shair, studying natural product total synthesis. He began his industrial career at Amgen, where as a team leader he contributed to the discovery of a clinical candidate for pain management and to hit-to-lead and early optimization efforts on several neurodegenerative disease programs. As an early member of Scorpion Therapeutics, he has helped grow the organization and has co-led multiple oncology projects through candidate selection.
